Building the Railroad
Recently we were offered and accepted a 45 foot by 19-foot layout valued at $20,000. The layout was located in Canyon City, Oregon just south of John Day. Three members of the club took on disassembling the huge layout and brought it back to the fairgrounds the middle of March.
Join us in “Rebuilding the Railroad” as we install the new N Scale layout. The new layout will be three times larger than the old.
The new layout is 1,984 feet of track. That equates to over 60 scale miles of railroad. In addition, there will be two helices that will reach to a height of seven (7) foot above the floor. The new layout and helices will be a great addition for the Twin Falls County Fair.

We are looking for sponsors who can help us with a donation to help cover rebuilding of the layout and construction of the helixes.
If you are able to donate $10 or $50 or even more, you can do so by clicking on the link below or drop off your donation at the fairground office or mail your donation to Magic Valley Model Railroaders, 215 Fair AV, Filer, ID 83328. To show our appreciation, your name and/or company name will be placed on new wall of the N Scale.
